Volunteers Needed!

Glen Bailey is seeking volunteers to help serve lunch to our veterans on:

📅 Wednesday, November 11, 2026
🕙 Starting at 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
📍 U.S. VETS Facility, Barbers Point (Kapolei)

This is a meaningful opportunity to show our gratitude and support for those who have served our country.

Did You Know?

The U.S. VETS Barbers Point Facility in Kapolei continues to expand its ability to serve veterans living in Hawaii.

  • The facility can house up to 135 male and female U.S. military veterans.
  • U.S. VETS assumed management of 37 Tiny Homes located adjacent to the main facility.
  • This community, known as Kamaʻoku Kauhale, was built through a partnership involving the State of Hawaii, Hawaii Home Builders Association, U.S. VETS, and several volunteer organizations, including Rotary Club of Honolulu Sunset.
  • Ten of the tiny homes are dedicated to veterans, while the remaining homes provide housing opportunities for Oahu's homeless population.
Together, these efforts provide stability, housing, and support services that help veterans transition toward long-term success and independence.

Mahalo for your continued service, generosity, and commitment to "Service Above Self." We look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday!
