Toni A. Muranaka Toni has over 20 years of nonprofit experience with 14 of those years with the American Heart Association as a Senior Director. She has experience in managing a non-profit organization with developing and managing fiscal budgets, board governance, directing and managing program and fundraising staff to ensure an organization’s strategic plan is achieved. Additionally, she has international experience in Community Programs, Development and Implementation, Team Building, Public Speaking, and Public Relations with specialties in Sales & Marketing, Event Planning, Events Design and E-commerce. Toni has served four world tours as a Hawaii ambassador singing choir and dancing hula, published a childrenʻs book as a co-author with a print run of 12k. She was born and raised on Oahu in Kailua as a tomboy who blossomed into a Miss Hawaii USA, married a wonderful man now raising two teenager daughters who attend Le Jardin & Punahou. Family life is exhilerated with an adorable Bishon Chihuahua mix dog named Kea. Today, Toni is with Make-A-Wish® Hawaii as the Annual Gifts Officer. This position is a member of the development team responsible for managing all aspects of the Annual Giving Program for the foundation. She plays an active role in the cultivation, solicitation and recognition of individual donors responsible to meet ambitious budget goals for programs such as Women for Wishes, Clubs and Civic Organizations, Kids for Wish Kids (schools), Wishmakers on Campus (colleges), Bequests/Tributes, Car Donations, and Adopt A Wish. She previously was the Executive Director for MADD Hawaii.
