OUR SPEAKER TODAY: Taylor Ritenberg
Taylor Ritenberg is the Project Manager of the Hawaii Bicycling League’s Adult and Senior Education Program.
The Hawaii Bicycling League (HBL) is a 39-year old non-profit organization that works to get more people on bicycles for health,
recreation, and transportation by making Hawaii’s streets safer through advocacy, education, and events.
HBL is the premier advocacy group in the Hawaii for cyclists’ rights and infrastructure, and is also behind the largest cycling event in Hawaii, the Honolulu Century Ride.
Taylor joined HBL in 2013 after studying and swimming for the University of Hawaii at Manoa for three years. Originally from Australia, Taylor now teaches adults how to ride safely on the streets, and seniors how to keep active in their old age through cycling.
Taylor will be discussing the benefits of cycling, how to get into cycling at any age, and what the Hawaii Bicycling League is doing to make cycling a safe, fun and viable mode of transport in Hawai
