is the Executive Director of Hawaii Literacy, a local non-profit organization that works with low-income adults and children to build reading, writing, and life skills. She has been Director since 2008, and spent her career in social services and non-profit management. Suzanne is an alumni of the Weinberg Fellows Program and Omidyar Fellows Program. Originally from Boston, Suzanne attended Williams College in Massachusetts and Boston University. She is an avid reader and also volunteers on the board of the Hawaii Book & Music Festival and workforce development planning efforts. Her long term goals for Hawaii Literacy’s programs and her work are to contribute to increasing educational and economic opportunity in our state, country, and world.
