Savannah Collins Allshouse currently serves as the Associate Director for Hawai‘i Nature Center, an environmental education non-profit on the islands of Maui and O‘ahu. She has been employed with the organization since 2016, where she started as the Grant Development Manager. Her work duties include grant writing and administration, fundraising event planning, staff management, strategic planning, analyzing survey responses, and digital marketing. Prior to her non-profit experience, Savannah spent a year and a half overseeing contracts and finances for a Department of Defense contractor, and nearly a year conducting data analysis for the Texas Comptroller. She received her MPSA degree as a Graduate Merit Fellow from The Bush School of Government & Public Service at Texas A&M University in 2014, graduating with foci in policy analysis and quantitative methods. She received her BA in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma in 2012. Outside of work, Savannah enjoys hiking, reading, volunteering with Girl Scouts, and learning to practice the art and science of traditional Polynesian voyaging. She currently lives in Honolulu, Hawai‘i.
