waldorfThe Meaning of a Waldorf Education, Jocelyn Romero Demirbag, Administrative Director,Honolulu Waldorf School
Jocelyn is a Maui girl born and raised in the musical and performing arts. She found Haleakala Waldorf School in 1996 when searching for her daughter’s preschool and within five months was hired as the music and Hawaiiana teacher there. Jocelyn became the Administrative Director of the school in 1997, and then Chair of School from 2001-2006, and 2008-2015. She is currently the Administrative Director of the Honolulu Waldorf School.

Over the years Jocelyn has run her own business, run Child and Family Service’s Maui office, and run the Maui office for the Hawaii Community Foundation.

Jocelyn’s most recent accomplishment is obtaining her Ed.D. in Educational Professional Practice from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Her interests include swimming, running, singing Hawaiian music, dancing hula, reading, cooking, and speaking Turkish.
