Founded by Brenda Reichel in November 11, 1987, as a full service jeweler and personal property appraiser. We are now just like the Antique Roadshow with collectibles, and events like the Hawaiian Antique Roadshow. She became nationally known when she identified the John Schmitt’s missing 1968, Super Bowl III ring.
Brenda has worked with the Bishop Museum, Iolani Palace, Honolulu Museum of Art, Hawai’i State Archives, and Lodge Le Progres De l’Oceanie. She has appraised items from the Monarchy of the Kingdom of Hawai’i, the Crown Jewels, Masonic Tools of King David Kalakaua, John Dominis, Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop, Queen Kapiolani, Queen Lili’uokalani, and Princess Abigail Kekaulike Kawanakoa.
The Ni’ihau Cultural Heritage Foundation recognizes Brenda Reichel as a qualified appraiser of Ni’ihau Shell lei. Brenda has lectured in London, Edinburgh, and to the GIA Alumni Association Chapters, Appraisers International Society, NAJA, ASA, ISA, and Saint Andrew Society of Hawai’i. Brenda has taught the Gemologist course at the Honolulu Museum of Art. She is Gemological Institute of America, Graduate Gemologist. Brenda has been in the jewelry business for over 30 years.
She has sponsored Miss Hawaii, Miss America and Miss Hawai’i (USA) scholarship pageants.
Hosted her own talk show radio called GemNews, which you can listen to in the Podcast section. GemNews was broadcast on KWAI and other stations over the last 30 years. She does custom designs, estates, collectibles, art, and all types of jewelry services.
